Candied Walnuts 

Candied Walnuts are perfect for game days. Aside from snacking, add it to salads, topping for ice cream, yogurt and more.

white sugar, brown sugar, butter, salt, rum or water, walnut halves

Combine white sugar, brown sugar, butter, salt, rum or water in skillet.  Stir occasionally.

If you prefer grainy coating, add walnuts before mixture turns into a dark syrup. Otherwise continue cooking.

Pour walnuts on prepared tray with parchment paper. Quickly separate candied walnuts using 2 kitchen utensils. Let it cool to harden before eating or storing.
