  • 2 pounds Jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined or Costco’s headless unpeeled shrimp)
  • ¼ cup ginger minced
  • 1/3 cup scallion or green onion minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons garlic salt powder (or 6 huge cloves garlic, minced)
  • pepper to taste


  • In a pan, melt butter then add olive oil over medium heat.
  • When hot, saute ginger and scallion or green onion for 2 minutes.
  • Season with garlic salt powder.
  • Add shrimp. Cook until it turns orange.
  • Ground pepper to taste.
  • Turn off heat.
  • Serve hot with rice, vegetables or pasta. Enjoy!



Don't over cook shrimp.
