Original Philly Cheese Steak made with thinly sliced ribeye, onion, sweet peppers and melted cheese whiz.

Ingredients
1large ribeye steaksliced thinly
1medium onioncut in circle
½cupcheese whiz
½cuporange and yellow bell peppersliced lengthwise
1tablespoonbutter
1tablespoonolive oil
¼teaspoongarlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
If ribeye is frozen, before fully thawed, wash and pat dry with paper towel. If not frozen, place it in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes and it is easier to slice.
Slice the meat thinly across the grain. Trim the fat around the steak. if you desire.
Slice onion and sweet peppers.
In a hot pan, melt butter then add olive oil.
Add sliced ribeye. Cook depending on your preference rare, medium or well done.
Season with salt, ground pepper and garlic powder.
While cooking steak toast bread and cut in half.
Once steak is done, place it on the bread.
Caramelize onion and spread it on top of steak.
Caramelize sweet bell peppers and set aside.
Spread cheese whiz on top of steak.
Garnish with sweet bell peppers.
Make two servings of 5 inches French bread Cheese Steaks.
Notes
Don’t keep stirring, let the meat, onion and peppers to caramelize.
Thin out cheese whiz with milk, if you don’t like it thick.
The cheese whiz is a bit salty so don't over season the ribeye.
You can request the butcher to slice the ribeye thinly.
