Transfer package from freezer to fridge to thaw. It doesn’t take long. I don’t normally thaw them, as long as I am able to separate them apart then I’m ready to fry.
Frying in Low Heat (Slow Cooking in Low Heat)
Heat oil over medium or medium to low heat.
Fry each side for about 2 minutes. Then raise heat to crisp danggit. This is quick, maybe a few seconds.
Remove from heat.
Frying in High Heat - Quick & Very Crispy
Cook in high heat with 1 cup oil. Once oil is hot, cook danggit and do not overcrowd. It will curl and cook in a few seconds, about 10 to 15 seconds. Remove it quickly as it can burn easily.
Notes
I prefer the slow and low heat way of cooking as it cooks evenly and longer, killing any bacteria present.
Serve with rice, veggies and spicy vinegar garlic mix.
