Sinangag is a Filipino Garlic Rice made with garlic and a day old rice.

garlic
crushed & minced

white rice
(cooked day old rice)

Instructions
Heat oil over medium – low heat.
Add garlic and stir fry. Lower heat to low.
With a low temperature, garlic will slowly cook. Stir.
Garlic will turn golden brown and crisp.
Add rice, mix it well until grains separate from each other.
Cook for 5 to 8 minutes.
Season with salt. Ground pepper is optional.
Mix well for another minute or two.
Serve hot.
Notes
Use a day old white rice.
If you want to add more garlic, you may do so depending on your preference.
I don't add ground black pepper but serve it on the side.
