Sweet and Spicy Pulled Pork Sliders
Easy to make pulled pork recipe cooked for hours to achieve a succulent, juicy and tender pork simmered in a mouthwatering BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

pork shoulder
cut 2 in x 2 in

small onion

brown sugar

paprika

salt

ground black pepper

garlic powder

cayenne pepper

barbecue sauce
I used Sweet Baby Ray’s Sweet n’ Spicy – so use whatever you have

cornstarch dissolved in 2 teaspoons water

Hawaiian rolls

red cabbage
½
cup
bean sprout
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, garlic powder, ground black pepper, brown sugar and your favorite barbecue sauce.
Place pork in a pot and pour the barbecue sauce mixture.
Bring to a boil and simmer pork until tender. Usually about 2 hours or so when cooking on the stove.
Remove pork when done. Set aside. Don’t turn off heat on pan.
Slowly pour cornstarch mixture in the pot stirring constantly.
Once sauce is thick turn off heat and transfer sauce in a small bowl.
Shred or pull pork using 2 forks.
Toast the Hawaiian rolls if you like to.
Put about 3 to 4 tablespoons of pulled pork on the rolls.
Garnish with your favorite vegetables.
Add the sauce with the pulled pork or serve the sauce on the side.
Serve these sliders with other side dishes like the refreshing
Watermelon, Feta and Tomato Salad
